As part of our EXPANSION in operations, we are looking for a Quality Management Manager – Operations / Qualified Person for Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd. facility who will be responsible for managing, coordinating and leading the Operations Team within the Quality Management Department of the Company.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT MANAGER – OPERATIONS / QP
The Position Requires:
- Coordinating the job functions of the QM department Operations Team to attain the most effective and efficient deployment of human and material resources within a given budget.
- Responsible for ensuring that all operations and relevant quality support associated with batch releases are performed in a timely manner
- Responsible for the upkeep, management and continuous improvement of all relevant quality operations.
- Actively promotes Quality culture within the organisation and responsible for leading the implementation of Quality on the Floor project and any other relevant initiatives.
- Responsible for coordination of CMO management within the team.
- Main driver of quality KPIs and in setting up and maintaining a system of relevant metric measurement, trends, management and communication thereof.
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to Company policies and procedures, quality standards, H&S regulations as well as relevant US, EU and international GMP requirements for active pharmaceutical ingredients and pharmaceutical products for human consumption.
- Active participation in continuous improvement and any projects assigned by the Head of QM and the Head of Malta Operations.
- Ability to understand and achieve the strategy and implement policies.
- A University Undergraduate Degree in Pharmacy or a related science field.
- Eligibility to act as Qualified Person (QP) as recognised by the Malta Medicines Authority
- Fulfils Qualified Person role and responsibilities as per applicable legal requirements.
- Minimum experience of 5 years working in a quality unit and 2 years as Qualified Person in a pharmaceutical company.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Computer literacy and good command of MS Office Applications.
