ASSISTANT QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER


We are looking for an Assistant QC Manager within Combino Pharm (Malta) Ltd. who will be responsible for assisting the QC Manager in executing quality related functions and activities under the responsibility of the QC department, whilst ensuring compliance with protocols, cGMPs and company procedures. Moreover, the selected candidate will be required to perform QC related functions according to the exigencies of the Company.

The Position Requires:

  • Ensuring that at all times, all the necessary QC activities are carried out and
  • documented in accordance with protocols, company procedure and cGMPs.
  • Approving or rejecting starting materials and packaging materials according to company procedures.
  • Approving Certificates of Analysis for materials and products.
  • Reviewing specifications, test/analytical methods, stability records and other QC procedures.
  • Maintaining/entering QC relevant Master Data in the MRP system.
  • Reviewing Sampling instructions, and communication with Production department on product sample requirements.
  • Review of QC department related change controls and deviations.
  • Provide support to QC Manager in administration of laboratory procurement system.
  • Provide support to QC department in relation to induction training of new QC personnel.

The selected person will be:

  • In possession of a higher qualification in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical science.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a pharmaceutical QC environment.
  • Extremely organised and possess excellent communications skills.
  • Able to lead and motivate.
  • Able to think critically and a good problem solver.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Results oriented and will display an attitude that reflects our Company values.
