For more than 35 years, Medichem has been playing an important role as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) producer for the generic business. Our extensive product list offers our clients the possibility to select from more than 70 APIs which have been carefully selected taking into account different aspects such as potential sales, patent situation, etc., as well as trying to cover the main therapeutic areas.
Our emphasis on R&D gives us the chance to add about 8-10 new APIs each year, providing new business opportunities for our partners year after year and requiring us to have a strong regulatory department in order to prepare Drug Master Files, Certificates of Suitability and to provide rapid responses to the requests from Health Authorities.
Medichem’s policy is based on timely delivery of high-quality APIs, full technical, regulatory and legal support and direct contact with clients. All of that has allowed us to become one of the preferred sources for the main generic companies worldwide.
The current flexible structure of Medichem and its well-trained and motivated team allows us to cover our clients’ needs in a short period of time. Our annual customer satisfaction survey reflects that this is greatly appreciated by our partners.
We aim to continue to contribute intensively to increasing the generic business thanks to our day-to-day collaboration with more than 300 clients in over 60 countries.
In collaboration with Combino Pharm, our sister company, we also offer dossiers and Finished Dosage Forms for distribution worldwide.
Contract Manufacturing
Through the Contract Manufacturing business unit, Medichem is well positioned to provide a fully integrated development service through all the stages of chemical and clinical trials from small volumes to multi kilos of API.
In providing the Contract Manufacturing service, Medichem is very much aware of our clients’ need for an efficient and rapid response, particularly with products in the early stages of clinical development, and we provide this rapid service requirement.
